To create socially-accountable health system change that improves the health of rural people and communities in BC, the Rural Coordination Centre of BC works with numerous partners—healthcare providers and administrators, community members, policymakers, representatives from non-profit organizations and companies, and educational leaders—from across our province. These partners are represented in the Partnership Pentagram Plus model, below. Our work is funded by the Joint Standing Committee on Rural Issues, which advises the BC government and Doctors of BC on matters pertaining to rural medical practice.
